Oil Based Defoamer D-510W is used to control foam in emulsion paints, inks, adhesives, starch systems, chemical processes, lubricants, degreasing chemicals and water treatment.
It breaks foam quickly and also helps to reduce defoaming. This makes the process smoother and helps in keeping production more stable.
For paints and inks 0.1 to 0.3% is usually enough. In lubricants and degreasing systems 0.1 to 0.2% is commonly used.
For paints and inks, it is better to split the dosage between pigment premix and let down stage. Shake the product well before use if layers appear.
