PolySurf HP is used in radiation curable metal primers, finishes, adhesives, pigment dispersants and emulsion systems where adhesion and flame retardant support are needed.
It helps to improve adhesion to metal, metal oxides, glass and concrete. It also supports better emulsion stability and helps to reduce grit build up and foam.
The usual dosage is 0.5% to 2.5% in emulsions and UV systems. For metal adhesion it is around 3.0%. For flame retardancy about 4.0% is used.
Yes, it can be used as a flame retardant support in unsaturated polyesters and polyacrylates while also helping with adhesion and system stability.
